Kwankwaso happy with Kano Speaker’s resignation
Kano State governor, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso has said that he will now sleep with both eyes closed as a result of change in the leadership of the State House of Assembly.
He stated this on Wednesday during a meeting with members of the Community Reorientation Council (CRC) from the 44 local government areas of the state at Government House, Kano.
The governor noted that hitherto, he was not comfortable with the leadership of the house, urging the new leadership to remain determined and focused in the task ahead of them.
The governor noted that the new speaker Hon. Ishaq Ali Danja is a reliable gentleman, expressing optimism that the cordial relationship between the executive and the legislature in the state would be solidified.
