Mauritius referee, Rajindraparsad Seechurn, was left at the mercy of angry members of the Tunisia national team on Saturday after handing a controversial win to the host nation of the 2015 African Cup of Nations, Equatorial Guinea

The quarter final clash between the two countries started on a good note, with Tunisia taking the lead in the 70th minute of the game but a controversial stoppage time penalty in the 93rd minute hauled the host nation back into the game. Extending the match to an extra time, Equatorial Guinea grabbed another goal in the 102nd minute to seal.

Upon the final whistle on Saturday, January 31, 2015, members of the North African team went for the referee who had to be rescued by the security men who stormed in the pitch in their numbers.
