Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has attempted to deflect criticism away from his under-performing players, by insisting their disastrous start to the season is down to him, as per BBC.
Mourinho’s men succumbed to a third defeat in five Premier League games in this afternoons early kick off, as a Steven Naismith hattrick inspired Everton to a 3-1 win over Chelsea at Goodison Park.
Naismith scored a perfect hattrick against Chelsea; he scored with his head, left foot and right foot.
Everton’s victory, means that Chelsea have already lost as many games in the league this season as they did for the entirety of the 2014-15 campaign and they currently appear some way short of the side that romped to the Premier League title a few months ago.
The vast majority of Chelsea’s squad have fallen way below the performance levels expected of them this term, but Mourinho instead blamed poor fortune for their latest costly defeat
