Although Donald Trump was originally scheduled to appear alongside House Speaker Paul Ryan on Saturday at a joint campaign event in Wisconsin, the latest leaked audio that incriminates Trump of speaking lewdly of women forced the party nominee to drop out of that event.
Then in his place, it was announced that Indiana Governor Mike Pence would go instead.
And now, not so much.
NEW: @NBCNews has learned Mike Pence is not going to the Wisconsin GOP event today.
Pence will no longer attend the event in Wisconsin according to reports by NBC News, though it was the personal choice of the Vice Presidential candidate not to attend.
Kelly Ayotte of New Hampshire, who just withdraw her support for Donald Trump’s candidacy this morning, said that she would be writing in Mike Pence’s name next month when she heads to the ballot box.
