The Imo State Governor, Rocha’s Okorocha, has described the defection of a former Governor of Abia State, Chief Orji Kalu, to the All Progressives Congress as a good development not only for the APC but also for the South-East geopolitical zone.
Okorocha said that with men like Orji User Kalu joining him in the APC, they would develop the region under the APC as the ruling party and noted that Kalu was an asset any political party would like to have in its fold.
He urged other frontline politicians in the South-East to follow the Orji Kalu’s example and expressed the joy that Igbo political leaders had begun to respond positively to his call.
