REAL MADRID are reportedly ready to pull the plug on Gareth Bale’s potential move to Manchester United

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has been rumoured to be interested in taking Bale to Old Trafford which speculation surfacing over the last couple of transfer windows.

The Red Devils are expected to strengthen heavily in the summer in a bid to close the gap to Manchester City.

However, Spanish outlet Don Balon say United will be dealt a huge blow in their pursuit of the Welshman.

That is because Bale is apparently Chelsea bound as Real Madrid president Florentino Perez changes his transfer tactics.

Don Balon claim the Bernabeu chief wants to focus on signing Eden Hazard before the end of the season after being made aware of the Belgian’s desire to move to the Spanish capital.

So Los Blancos will use Bale as a makeweight in the deal.

Perez is said to have grown increasingly frustrated with the winger’s persistent calf injury which has seriously hampered his gametime.
