We've all been mourning the loss of Nelson Mandela, who passed away on December 5 after battling a lung infection. And our favorite reality stars are missing him, too.
Nelson Mandela — who was 95 — served as South Africa's president from 1994 to 1999. He had served a 27-year prison sentence until 1990, after which he worked to dismantle apartheid and its damaging effects on his nation.
Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kenya Moore took to her Twitter page following his death to remember him. "The world has lost a great man," Kenya writes on December 5. "President Mandela changed lives, changed minds and changed the world. Freedom is never free. #Mandela."
We love Kenya's thoughts on Mr. Mandela, as he definitely remains an inspiration to all of us.
Other celebs tweeted their thoughts on his death. NeNe Leakes writes, "RIP Nelson Mandela"; Khloe Kardashian writes, "An amazing man with great wisdom. Rest in peace Nelson Mandela"; and Samuel L. Jackson writes, "Never met a better person in my life than Nelson Mandela. My sympathy to his family & his country." Plus, Beyonce posted two photos of herself with Mr. Mandela.
Our thoughts are with his loved ones during this difficult time.
