Lagos Govt Orders Removal of President Jonathan's Campaign Posters
The Lagos state Government on Friday ordered the Transformation Ambassadors of Nigeria (TAN), a Pro-Goodluck Jonathan group to remove all campaign posters of the President pasted on highways and streets in the state; THIS DAY reports.
The state government claims TAN has failed to comply with its regulation on outdoor advertising by terminating about N350 million contracts with outdoor agencies duly registered with Lagos Advertising and Signage Agency (LASAA).
The Lagos state government threatened to use its officials for the removal of the campaign posters if TAN did not comply.
