CRISTIANO RONALDO has reportedly outlined the players he doesn’t want Real Madrid to sign in the summer.
Zinedine Zidane is expected to bolster his squad in the transfer window with club president Florentino Perez already understood to be working on some deals.
But according to Spanish publication Diario Gol, Ronaldo has named three players Real should not be pursuing.
Chelsea’s Eden Hazard, Atletico Madrid attacker Antoine Griezmann and Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Marco Verratti are thought to be the names he has mentioned.
The news of Ronaldo’s desire not to link up with Hazard will be bad news to Perez and Zidane as they are keen to bring the Belgian to the Bernabeu with both of them long-term admirers of his talent.
Ronaldo is keen to retain his highly regarded status in the Spanish capital and he doesn’t want to share his crown with any of the trio.
Perez is thought to be seeking assurances from the Portuguese star as he is keen to keep him at the club.
Ronaldo has his own ideas for taking Real to the next level but he is understood to have vetoed moves for the aforementioned stars.
