Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is always said to have preferred a move to Real Madrid despite interest from clubs such as Liverpool, Manchester City, Arsenal and Manchester United. The Borussia Dortmund striker could get his wish as Marca has reported a deal has been agreed in principle for the Gabon international.
Previous reports of leaving Dortmund only for Real have been denied by the 27-year-old, which appeared to open the door for him to leave the Bundesliga for Man City in the Premier League but nothing came of those claims earlier in the summer.
These reports say a deal has been agreed.
But what isn't clear is when the deal will go through, assuming he does come to the Bernabeu as if this isn't done now it'll be done next summer with the return to Real of Alvaro Morata said to have put this back until the summer of 2017.
Another forward being linked with Real according to Don Balon, as well as Man United and Arsenal, is Miguel Almiron.
Currently at Argentine club Lanus the 22-year-old is a Paraguayan who Real, like the Premier League sides, have been 'scouting' for a while now.
A late transfer window move for Almiron could potential on for Real with Arsenal's hopes of signing him potentially scuppered by Los Blancos....or Man United.
