Done Deal: Manchester United striker Will Keane joins Hull
The striker has joined the Tigers for a fee in the region of £1m and signed a three-year deal.
Keane came through United's academy but he made just three appearances for the first-team and spent time on loan at Preston last season.
Keane said: “I’m delighted to move here.
“It’s a fresh start and a new challenge for me, so I’m really looking forward to getting things underway.”
The move to the KCOM Stadium sees Keane reunited with former United assistant manager Mike Phelan who is currently in temporary charge of Hull following the departure of Steve Bruce over the summer.
Keane joined United as an 11-year-old and made his senior debut in December 2011 against Blackburn.
His progress at Old Trafford was stalled by a serious knee injury which forced him to miss the whole of the 2012/13 season.
He had loan spells at Wigan, QPR and Sheffield Wednesday before spending the first half of last season at Preston where he scored two goals in 22 appearances.
Louis van Gaal recalled him in December amid an injury crisis and Keane made two appearances under the Dutchman before suffering a groin injury.
The arrival of Zlatan Ibrahimovic over the summer and the emergence of Marcus Rashford meant Keane was well down the pecking order in Jose Mourinho's plans moving forwards.
